Share the dates the whole crew needs

Put deliveries, inspections and days off on one shared board, and see how holidays and shutdowns land against them.

Last updated

The calendar is the shared board — deliveries, time off, milestones, inspections and anything else the crew needs to see. There is one per workspace, and every item belongs to a job.

Alongside the items you add, the board also shows the closures it already knows about: public holidays from your region and any shutdowns set in Settings. Those are shown read-only, because they're owned by Settings and editing them here would quietly change a workspace-wide rule.

  1. Open Calendar

Choose Calendar in the sidebar. It opens on the current month; Week and Day views are available at the top.

  2. Add an item

Select Add item, or select a day to start one on that date. Pick a type, give it a title and a date, and choose the job it belongs to.

  3. Name an 'Other' item properly

If none of the named types fit, choose Other and type what it actually is — Inspection, Concrete pour. That label is what appears on the chip, so the board never shows a row that just reads 'Other'.

  4. Add a batch from a spreadsheet

Select Batch add to paste many items at once. Copy rows out of Excel, paste into any cell, and the grid fills outward and grows as needed. Each row is checked before anything is created.

  5. Use the Look Ahead

The Look Ahead panel lists what's coming in the next 7, 14 or 30 days from today — not from the month you're browsing. It respects the same job and type filters as the board.

Worth knowing

  • Public holidays and shutdowns can't be dragged or edited from the calendar. Change them in Settings, or in the job's own Work schedule for a per-job closure, and the board updates.
  • A day you switch to Working in Settings or from the scheduler stops being shaded here too, even if it falls inside a multi-day shutdown.
